Client Contract Renewal Specialist

Job Description:


The Contract Renewal Specialist will focus on current client renewal opportunities for product options including multiyear, multi-application mixes. This position will also assist in maintaining client data and renewal support including:

Drive the renewal process for Workhuman’s customer facing team of Strategic Account Directors and Customer Success Managers. This role aims to increase productivity, strategic positioning, while maintaining a Workhuman’s very high renewal rate.  This includes but is not limited to assisting in quoting renewals, reporting on upcoming renewals, developing RFP strategies, and maintaining Salesforce.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer renewals, including tracking opportunities, preparing and delivering proposals/quotes and negotiating with customers. Collaborate with all internal stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. 

  • Identify upsell/cross sell opportunities. Collaborate with customer facing teams on proposals to increase opportunity value and internal teams to ensure pricing and contract compliance.    

  • Manage operational process including Salesforce updates, upcoming renewals, contract requests. Track and provide status updates on all open and upcoming opportunities to Customer.

  • Manage RFP process for existing customers by partnering with proposals teams and CSM to develop response strategy. 

  • Provide functional expertise around the Workhuman Cloud platform to team members and customers with specific emphasis on commercial terms. 

  

Required skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of experience managing renewals, creating client proposals and negotiating renewal terms with client teams and/or in a client proposal related role.

  • Ability to spot upsell/cross sell opportunities. 

  • Knowledge of cloud-based software platforms.

  • Ability to execute efficiently on multiple demands with high quality within a fast-paced work environment.

  • Highly detail oriented – verbal and written.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to continuously learn SAAS products and articulate value to clients.  

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce objects and reporting.  

  • Knowledge of HR software a plus.
