Digital Marketing Senior Analyst - Retargeting and Remarketing

We’re looking for…

A Digital Marketing Senior Analyst to join our entrepreneurial, analytical and fun marketing team. Focused on paid retention (Retargeting and Remarketing), this role will define and execute strategies to maximize revenue, engagement, and lifetime value for our Rue La La and Gilt members through display and social media advertising. 

Partnering with Tech, Creative, Data Science, Merchandising and other teams, this role will define the right moments to deepen our connection with our members and execute campaigns leveraging some of the largest and sophisticated Ad-tech platforms. This position can be remote or in our Boston or NYC offices. 

What you’ll accomplish:

  • Develop, manage, and analyze multi-million dollar marketing campaigns, focusing on Retargeting & Remarketing programs for our existing Rue La La and Gilt customers
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer lifecycle through data analytics to determine the optimal audiences and platforms to maximize incremental engagement and revenue  
  • Design and test marketing experiments in collaboration with marketing and technology teams 
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics/refine existing measurement frameworks to optimize and accelerate program growth 
  • Develop close partnerships with marketing vendors (Facebook, Google, Criteo, etc..) and a deep understanding of the levers we can pull to optimize for success
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Creative, Product Management, Technology and Buying/Merchandising to develop strategies and guide execution
  • Contribute to the overall performance marketing and growth strategy


You have…

  • 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing or a quantitative field  
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics or other concentrations with a significant quantitative focus
  • Required: Database querying using SQL (or similar query language)
  • Preferred: BI/visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Spotfire, Qlickview, etc.)
  • Strong interest in retail, e-commerce, fashion and/or B2C marketing
  • Demonstrated exceptional analytical horsepower and data-driven problem-solving skills; Consistently delivered high quality work product (insightful, error free) on moderate to highly complex analysis/processes
  • High tolerance for ambiguity with proven ability to drive to action
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An innovative, positive, and self-directed attitude
  • Willingness to work in our Boston or New York city office

  • Prior experience in e-commerce or retail industries
  • Working knowledge of databases and data warehousing techniques
  • Experience in data analysis in consumer/retail marketing analytics/data mining 
  • Experience in Performance Marketing, with a focus on customer acquisition or remarketing
