The Mass Technology Leadership Council, the state’s leading technology membership organization, has a new opening for a spring/summer intern. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Communities and will have the opportunity to assist in the development and execution of the Council’s marketing, communications, and community programs that drive revenue growth and enhance brand awareness.
 

This is a hands-on internship that includes events marketing, communications, digital marketing, social media, creative/design, database maintenance, and content development.


Overview of Responsibilities

Support marketing campaigns using social media and email software

Work closely with the MassTLC team on marketing our programs and events

Keep organization’s email database, events tools, and customer relationship software updated

Make updates to masstlc.org as needed

Assist in targeted email and direct mail campaigns to market events and membership

Support other membership, marketing, and program efforts


Internship Details

This is a flexible position, and we’d ask for 20- 40 hours per week (depending on time of year)

The position pays $14/hour

You will get to attend any of the member events you like for free and get full exposure to many of the technology companies in Massachusetts

You will have the opportunity to meet some of the leaders of the tech community


Skills and Experience Required

Great communications skills – both verbal and written

Positive, can do attitude!

Sense of humor (we like to laugh around here)

Experience in using marketing technology tools including marketing automation, CRM, event apps, social media platforms. etc.

Familiarity with graphic design tools

Familiarity with blogging and email distribution platforms such as Wordpress and Constant Contact helpful.
