Senior Content Marketing Specialist

Job Description:

The Sr. Content Studio Marketing Specialist is responsible for producing high-quality, relevant, and engaging content to help WH and its customers cultivate human connection in the workplace and create the future of work.

Content is at the cornerstone of our plan to build awareness and to grow our community, so you’ll be playing an important role in the growth of our business and in helping prospects and customers use social recognition as a way to create better work cultures that yield positive business outcomes.

You’ll become an expert in employee experience, social recognition, continuous performance management and our suite of tools to support it, and you’ll create both short-form and long-form content in a variety of formats (articles, reports, blog posts, videos, etc.) and for multiple distribution channels (blog, website, etc.). You’ll collaborate closely with fellow members of the marketing team, sales, customer success, as well as our customers to tell compelling stories across all forms of content in support of our various marketing initiatives.

The candidate is first and foremost a marketer, and an exemplary writer, storyteller, and communicator. You have a strong understanding of content marketing, and you understand how to distill complex ideas into easily understandable content, identify and develop great content ideas, and keep the quality of content consistent with the WH brand.

How you will make a difference:

  • Create engaging content. You’ll spend the bulk of your time creating amazing content across all formats and channels that helps our audiences learn how WH solutions make their workplaces more connected, engaged, and high performing.

  • Manage content projects. In addition to creating content, you’ll collaborate with fellow teammates and manage the process for producing your content projects from start to finish—from ideation to distribution.

  • Create discoverable and engaging video and audio content.  You’ll collaborate with content, social media and SEO to ensure video and audio content is easily discoverable and binge-able by our audience across a variety of marketing channels and at different stages of their buyer journey.

  • Prep and coach on-air talent so our video and audio content are both easily digestible and engaging to consume.

  • Maintain the tone and quality of content. You’ll assist in the editing process and help to ensure relevance and consistency across all the content we produce.

  • Monitor performance. You’ll collaborate with the team to keep an eye on and share the performance of our content—how it’s being consumed, what’s resonating, what’s driving results, etc—and you’ll use data to optimize our content efforts fast.

What Your Work Will Look Like:

  • You’ll be part of the Content Studio team and you’ll report to WH’s Content Director.

  • You’ll collaborate with our in-house creative team and external vendor network to get content created.

  • You’ll Monitor performance. You’ll collaborate with team members to monitor and share how many people are discovering, watching, sharing, and signing up for our content.

  • You’re a rock-star marketer, writer, and editor.

  • You think about the story first and the format second.

  • You understand how to tell easily understandable and compelling stories to create high-quality content that helps solve business problems, with a background focused on creating engaging video and audio formats.

  • You’re curious by nature, you draw your inspiration from anywhere but typical corporate content, and you’re energized by being part of a fast-paced, emerging team.

  • You know what makes for exceptional content, and how to keep the content production process moving smoothly and on-brand.

  • You have at least 4 years of experience working either with or for B2B brands in a content marketing capacity, preferably with experience in SaaS marketing.
