Social Media Manager, North America

Purpose of the Role:


    • Delivering Corporate Voice to your region
    • Listening and engaging with local customers via Social Media channels
    • Driving customers and leads to the business via lead generation and trial seeding across social media channels
    • Provide education and service to build brand awareness and sales consideration within your region via social media channels
    • Create locally relevant content and engage in local partnerships to achieve aforementioned goals

 

 

What You Will Be Doing:

 

  • Provide information to Global SM regarding dynamics of SM audience in local channels
  • Keep up with relevant industry trends within SM, both regionally and globally
  • Define local strategy and channel prioritization
  • Leverage social advertising to drive sales and to hit regional KPI
  • Plan content creation and delivery across local (spread)
  • Design and write posts for local SM channels
  • Execute global content strategy and delivery strategy
  • Control the quality of the content and engagement /virility rate in local SM Channels/blogs
  • Monitor local SM channels of the company (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) and all SM channels of key competitors on daily basis
  • Advise steps in terms of local channel developments
  • Evaluate global content in terms of local relevance
  • Partner with local stakeholders for integrated campaigns – including marketing, communications and sales functions
  • Offer strategic guidance to internal teams for expanding use of social media across the region
  • Keep local teams updated on changing social media landscape and current Kaspersky social media team tactics, projects and goals
  • Facilitate employee advocacy & external advocacy (fan club)
  • Manage social media advertising for a variety of end results – sales, reach, engagement, etc.
  • Influencer’s project management
  • Manage local lead generation efforts via SM channels
  • Trial seeding for both B2C and B2B
  • Proactively share best practices with regional and global teams
  • Create local video content
  • Maintain executive profiling within region for key stakeholders and grow their regional profile

What You Should Have/Know:

 

 

  • Completed degree (BA, MSc, MA, PhD) in journalism, marketing, philosophy, psychology, literature, - any humanitarian science. IT-related - OK field
  • Additional education (trainings/ certifications) in communications filed / specialization
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PR/Mass media/Blogging/Social Media area / company / industry / market
  • Be able to share portfolio of professional work and/or clients showcasing experience
  • Experience in managing social media advertising campaigns
  • Understand ROI and possess ability to explain this
  • Track record of managing integrated social media campaigns for both traffic and sales
  • Content production process
  • Blogging & WordPress
  • Basic Photoshop skills
  • Basic HTML skills
  • Expertise in Social media advertisement (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Basic SEO knowledge
  • Must have active social networks for an extended period of time.
  • Blogging and Web content
  • IT/Software (knowledge of the market, key players)
  • Social Media or Public Relations experience
  • Team player
  • Must know how to follow global guidelines and leadership
  • Must be a proactive self-starter who can build strong relationships
  • Ability to collaboratively and act creatively
  • Must be able to work and adapt quickly
  • Photoshop (or Illustrator), MS Office, Social Media listening tools (Brandwatch, Buzzsumo, etc.), social media response management tools, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter advertising and Social Media content delivery systems (Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Sprinklr, etc)
  • Positive, honest, with good sense of humor and very committed to this job.
  • Valid passport or ability to attain one is also required.
  • Travel expectations are around 10%
