Solutions Marketing Manager, AI Marketplace

Business Unit Summary: The AI Marketplace is one of Nuance’s critical new business growth initiatives and is being incubated with a dedicated team in tight partnership with the mainstream diagnostic imaging business unit. Nuance will use its significant existing footprint in imaging with its market-leading solutions, including PowerScribe reporting and PowerShare image sharing, to expand our multi-sided network for AI-powered imaging that drives value to all key healthcare stakeholders across Radiology Practices, Imaging AI Developers, and Provider, Health Plans and Self-insured Employers, Pharma, and MedTech organizations. Its goal is to drive better quality, more efficiency, and greater cost savings through earlier detection and better care, precise and consistent clinical interpretations with streamlined reporting, and better utilization management for optimal clinical decisions, care pathways, and patient outcomes.


Job Summary: As a critical member of the AI Marketplace team, the Solutions Marketing Manager, AI Marketplace is responsible for supporting market definition requirements, building messaging and positioning, creating solution-level content, driving integrated go-to-market plans, leading new product launches, and collaborating with other teams to tell Nuance’s comprehensive message for Nuance’s AI Marketplace offering, including Providers, Health Plans, Pharma, and MedTech. This role will also drive the overall strategy and execution for the marketing plan and demand generation programs with the primary focus of developing and accelerating the sales pipeline to directly contribute to division, business unit, and sales bookings and revenue goals.

  • Be the expert on Nuance solutions; develop and maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, actively monitoring, communicating, and acting upon changes relevant to partners, clients, and competition.

  • Set the strategic marketing vision for AI Marketplace and work closely with other marketing functions, sales, product management, and the business unit GM to align priorities and create a succinct focus on optimized growth. 

  • Lead the development of product positioning, value proposition, and messaging that resonates with the buying audience and aligns with core messaging for the solution portfolio.

  • Translate business strategy into market messaging objectives for the solution, working closely with the business strategy leads and communications teams.

  • Design and develop marketing plans for integrated acquisition and nurture programs, campaigns, and events to drive leads, pipeline, and hit booking targets.

  • Lead marketing function for product launches/NPIs and collaborate on the design, development, and socializing of product, service, and solution-level documents: marketing plan, sales enablement plan, and launch plan.

  • Collaborate with peers to write compelling content that describes the product’s ability to meet buyer needs, solve market problems and fulfill aspirations; creating internal positioning guides and external messages and assets focused on key market segments, buyer personas, and buying stages to grow our base.

  • Lead the creation and cultivation of marketing assets pipeline for solutions, including but not limited to market-facing collateral, case studies and success stories, digital media content, speaking proposals, presentations, video content, and technical/scientific support materials.

  • Support knowledge transfer about markets, buyers, and product/solutions across marketing and sales functions.

  • Conduct market and customer research, in conjunction with the Market Research and Competitive Intelligence team, to gather data and insight about target personas, buyer needs, and purchasing decision process for the product, including buyer roles. 

Candidate Qualifications:


Minimum Education: BA/BS degree


Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare marketing, product management, or related field. Must have clinical expertise and thorough understanding of Health IT, Health Plans, Pharma, or MedTech. Background in diagnostic imaging industry is a plus.


Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated success marketing new solutions and products to healthcare c-suite buyers.

  • Strong background in messaging complex products, impeccable writing skills, and a knack for establishing competitive differentiation; a high impact creative communicator; content creation experience is preferred.

  • Ability to link product launches to organizational campaign themes and goals.

  • Ability to develop strategies for creating pipeline for new offerings and upsell, cross-sell, and account-based marketing programs to grow existing relationships.

  • Comfort working with Hospital Executives, Physicians, IT Specialists, Health Plans, Pharma, MedTech organizations, and other members of the care process.

  • Confidence in interacting with all levels of product and marketing leadership to drive a point of view around the future of the product and go-to-market campaigns.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-team capacity and work across functions and departments to bring solutions to life.

  • Excellent track record of working cross-functionally with product teams, engineering, sales, and business leads.
