Future of Work: Mental Health & Wellness

Wednesday, May 25, 2022 (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM) (EDT)

Description

Mental health and wellness are essential to an individual’s overall well-being. However, studies show that our state and our nation are struggling with a mental health crisis. In fact, a recent survey commissioned by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation during the COVID pandemic showed that more than one in three Massachusetts residents over the age of 19 reported needing mental health care. This program – during national Mental Health Awareness Month – will look at the role employers can play in supporting their employees mental health.

Offering expert, timely perspectives, the “Future of Work” series presents the future now: how business and government can and should recognize and act on the innovation, agility, and empathy required to support our vibrant, diverse workforce and communities, bolstering the region’s competitive edge in the global marketplace.
