Event Details

The internet of things (IoT) refers to devices, vehicles, and other physical items embedded with sensors and communication electronics that enable them to connect and exchange data. As larger networks of ‘things’ are connected, particularly in industrial and commercial environments, the volume and complexity of data produced is increasing dramatically. Managing this data so that it is meaningful, useful, and valuable has become a key UX challenge.

We will be sharing case studies to illustrate our IoT work which will be followed by a panel discussion. Share in the discussion and learn about best practices for creating a user-centric IoT front end, key interface considerations for complex IoT installations, and how PTC and Essential are approaching IoT UX challenges from a platform and custom design perspective.
